Deacon Blue Announce 2026 Australian Tour Celebrating 40 Years of Music

Scottish pop-rock group Deacon Blue will return to Australia in January and February 2026 for their first shows in the country since 2023. The tour marks the band’s 40th anniversary and coincides with the release of their latest studio album, The Great Western Road.

With a career spanning four decades, Deacon Blue are known for songs including Dignity, Real Gone Kid, I’ll Never Fall In Love Again and Fergus Sings the Blues. Their live performances will feature music from across their catalogue — from their debut album Raintown through to The Great Western Road.

The new album reflects the band’s journey over the years, bringing together themes of honesty, warmth and renewed energy.

Audiences can expect a setlist combining well-known hits, songs from the new release and other selections from their extensive discography.

The 2026 Australian tour will celebrate both the band’s history and its ongoing connection with audiences worldwide.
