She is the creator, executive producer and star of Netflix's hit comedy series Survival Of The Thickest, inspired by her bestselling collection of essays of the same name. The third and final season of the show is out now. Her first Netflix special, WELCOME TO BUTEAUPIA won the Critics Choice Television Award for Best Comedy Special. In 2024, she made comedy history when she filmed her second Netflix special, A BUTEAU-FUL MIND, at the legendary Radio City Music Hall in New York, becoming the first woman ever to tape a comedy special at the iconic venue.

Beyond comedy, Buteau continues to dominate screens big and small.
